Mr. Srun Borin, deputy director of Preah Vhear Provincial Department of Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries led Metkasekor Model team to conduct a field showcase

On June 8th, Mr. Srun Borin, deputy director of Preah Vhear Provincial Department of Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries led Metkasekor Model team to conduct a field showcase which was participated by 58 small holder farmers.

Seeds for conservation agriculture were also presented during the field showcasing by our private sector partner SmartAgro. The core objective of this field showcase was to raise the awareness about the benefits of conservation agriculture and to also demonstrate the practice of conservation agriculture to our small holder farmers and service providers. It is worth noting that Metkasekor Model is an extension model owned and led by the Department of Extension of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries with a mission to raise an awareness of the benefits of practicing conservation agriculture to our farmers and maintain quality of the soil.
